DESCRIPTION:Por iniciativa de la Comisión de Derechos de la Mujer\, de la que forma parte la eurodiputada Lina Gálvez el Parlamento Europeo celebrará su primera Semana Europea de la Igualdad de Género del 26 al 29 de octubre. \nCon motivo de la ocasión\, se ha invitado a todas las comisiones del PE a celebrar un debate\, una presentación\, un intercambio de opiniones o una audiencia sobre temas relacionados con la igualdad de género. \nAsí mismo\, Comité FEMM\, también celebrará su propio evento el jueves en el que la Director adel Instituto Europeo para la Igualdad de Género (EIGE)\, Carlien Scheele\, que presentará los resultados del Índice de Igualdad de Género 2020 \, con un enfoque especial en la digitalización en el mundo del trabajo y sus consecuencias para la igualdad de género. \nPara el programa completo de eventos en todos los Comités participantes\,  clic aquí . \nPuede ver todos estos eventos vía webstreaming en el Centro Multimedia EP .
